Before joining M² as president, chief executive officer, and board member in 2005, Alex was a partner at Bain & Company in London, England, where he spent more than 10 years specializing in strategy and operations issues. Previously, he was chief executive officer of Cummins Diesel Engine Company in South Africa. Most recently, he was chief executive officer of Option One Home Medical Equipment, headquartered in Orange County, California. At the University of London, he received an honors degree in civil engineering and a master’s degree in management science.
Danielle Dowdy —Vice President
Danielle joined M² in 2000. She provides strategic direction for identifying and developing the firm’s vital consultant relationships. Previously, she spent 30 years as a senior manager in the retail industry, serving as national account sales manager for footwear and for women’s active apparel at Reebok, and as eastern and western regional sales manager at Cole of California. She is the creator of “The Permission Workshop,” a motivational seminar for women.
Meg Hanna —Director of Human Resources
Meg is responsible for the design and implementation of M²’s human resource strategies. Before joining M², she founded Hanna & Associates, a San Francisco human resources consulting firm. She was previously director of business development for Innovative Human Resource Management in Silicon Valley. She attended Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois, and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix.
Robert Moore —Senior Vice President and General Manager
Robert leads M²’s Corporate Accounts business unit and has more than 20 years of experience in a variety of executive leadership, sales, and marketing roles. Before joining M² in 2000, he was director of the Channels Marketing Group for Xerox Corporation and region manager for the Western U.S. for Xerox Engineering Systems. He is a member of the Human Capital Institute and serves as a board member and committee co-chair for the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation. He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern California and an MBA from USC’s Marshall School.
Kimball Norup —Chief Marketing Officer
Kimball joined M² in 2007. Prior to joining the company, Kimball was Senior Vice President of Marketing for the Nelson Family of Companies. Before Nelson, Kimball was Vice President - Business Development for eSolo.com, and before that was Vice President - Marketing & Sales for Noverus. Kim was with Geodex International for eight years, the last four of which he served as President. He graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a degree in Civil Engineering and subsequently earned an MBA from the University of California at Davis.
A member of the M² Board of Directors since 1999, Russel joined the company as chief financial officer in 2005. He was previously chief financial officer of Educor, where he oversaw its diversification into the staffing and consulting industries. He is a qualified chartered accountant in South Africa and holds bachelors degrees in commerce and accountancy.
Dorinda Parker —Vice President and General Manager
Dorinda leads the Collabrus organization, an M² affiliate and wholly owned subsidiary offering premier consultant payroll, consultant management, and compliance services. Before joining M² in 2000, she spent five years in senior leadership positions at IKON Office Solutions and 20 years in executive management at Xerox Corporation. She has served on the board of directors of the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art and of the University of Oregon Alumni Association and served as a State of Oregon Economic Development Commissioner. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon.
Lori Perlstadt —Senior Vice President and General Manager
Lori heads one of M²’s major account business units, focusing on financial services. Since joining the firm in 1996, she has held a range of senior management, sales and marketing, and business development positions. Her relationship with M² began as a satisfied client, when she was senior director of business development at Pacific Telesis. Previously, she was a director of marketing for Royal Robbins, Inc., and a product manager with E. & J. Gallo Winery. She has an MBA from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree from Goucher College. She serves on the board of directors of the Nepalese Youth Opportunity Foundation.
Lori Rhodes —Vice President and General Manager
Lori leads M²’s Strategic Solutions Group (SSG), one of the firm’s core business units, working with major high-technology accounts. SSG develops innovative, client responsive engagement solutions and delivery models for its clients. Prior to joining M² in 2001, she spent 10 years at Xerox Corporation in business development, talent development, and management positions. In her community, Lori has been involved in the Ruby Hill Giving Thanks Charity fundraising event for nine years, serving as sponsor, president, and board chairman. She earned a bachelor’s degree from California State Polytechnic University.
